ISLAMABAD: In the 190 million pound scam, the accountability court granted bail to Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan till June 19. Imran Khan reached the Accountability Court Islamabad on the order of the Islamabad High Court and filed a bail application.

The court asked what has been ordered by the Islamabad High Court? Imran Khan’s lawyer Khawaja Haris said that the Islamabad High Court has given 3 days time to approach the concerned court.
Judge Muhammad Bashir said that you filed the application today? The lawyer said that Imran Khan’s bail application had been prepared and if necessary, he would file it today, ATC is scheduled to come on June 17.
Accountability Court granted Imran Khan’s bail till June 19 on a bond of 5 lakhs.
Extension of bails in cases from Islamabad High Court
Earlier, the Islamabad High Court had extended Imran Khan’s interim bail for 3 days in the £190 million scam and directed him to approach the accountability court.
Imran Khan reached the Islamabad High Court to appear in the bail application, on this occasion strict security arrangements were made in the court and surrounding areas.
Imran Khan was accompanied by his wife Bushra Bibi from Lahore who was present in the car during the hearing.
A division bench headed by Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb heard the bail application of Imran Khan in the £190 million scam.
The court extended Imran Khan’s interim bail by 3 days and ordered him to approach the accountability court within 3 days.
Imran Khan’s lawyers requested for extension of interim bail till June 8.
The court disposed of Imran Khan’s bail application with instructions, the court said that if the accountability court is not approached, the interim bail will become ineffective on Monday.
10 days extension of bail in case of violation of Section 144
The hearing of the bail application in the case filed against Imran Khan in Margalla Police Station for violation of Section 144 was also held in the Islamabad High Court.
The application was guaranteed by Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb.
The court extended Imran Khan’s interim bail for 10 days and ordered him to undergo investigation at Margalla police station.
Cases filed after May 9 incidents, bail extended by 10 days
A hearing was held in the Islamabad High Court on the request to prevent the arrest of Imran Khan in the cases filed after the May 9 incidents.
Imran Khan’s lawyer said that we cannot go to F8, we want to get bail from this court, we want to argue here instead of the court because of security concerns in this case.
The Additional Attorney General said that the court will be shifted to the new complex from June 6.
The court directed that if the court is not shifted to the new complex, the case should be heard in the judicial complex, if the court is shifted to the new complex, the case will be heard there.
On the inquiry of the court, Islamabad Police said that 6 cases were registered against Imran Khan after May 9.
The Islamabad High Court has extended the order restraining Imran Khan from arrest in 6 cases.
The court approved 10-day protective bail in the cases registered against Imran Khan after May 9 and also directed him to approach the concerned court within 10 days.
