ISLAMABAD: The first Friday of Ramadan will be observed today as a day of repentance and asking for forgiveness. Special prayers will be offered in mosques on this occasion.

According to the details, in view of the third deadly wave of Coronauba, on the direction of the President, the first Friday of Ramadan will be celebrated today as a day of repentance and forgiveness.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has appealed for special repentance and asking for forgiveness with precautionary measures to get rid of Corona and said that special prayers should be offered in the mosques for getting rid of Corona.

It may be recalled that the government had decided to celebrate the first Friday of Ramadan as a day of repentance and forgiveness and had issued a 20-point unanimous declaration to implement precautionary measures in mosques and imambargahs.

It is believed that the third wave of Corona is becoming dangerous in Pakistan. The deadly virus, WD19, has killed 110 more people in the last 24 hours across the country, while 5,364 new cases of Corona have been reported.
