Karachi: Officers of FIA Counter Terrorism Wing were arrested in Karachi for soliciting bribe of Rs 12 crore.
The FIA officers arrested after the registration case include CTW Inspector Pervez in charge, Inquiry Officer Inspector Aqeel and others.
Officers were investigating allegations of irregularities in the online medicine business, detaining some on June 22 and releasing them on June 24. Officers demanded a bribe of Rs 120 million while promising to pay Rs 100 million. The accused were released.
