Lahore : Facebook has expressed its desire to launch three projects for Pakistan while Pakistani officials have requested Facebook to open monetization in Pakistan.

According to details, efforts are underway to bring the offices of major social media companies, including Facebook, to Pakistan. In this regard, Pakistani officials contacted the Facebook administration.

In the contact, They requested Facebook to open monetization in Pakistan, on which Facebook expressed its desire to start 3 projects for Pakistan.

Confirming the contact, IT Minister Ziaullah Bangash said that positive progress has been made in the discussions with Facebook and it was agreed to resolve issues related to legislation.

Ziaullah Bangash said that he has decided to legislate after meeting Asad Qaiser. In this regard, a meeting of Facebook management, PTA and IT experts has also been convened.

The provincial minister further said that like YouTube, Facebook also wants monetization in Pakistan and has offered social media companies to set up offices in Pakistan.

He said that Facebook is going to launch 3 projects in Pakistan, work will start soon, offices will also be set up.
