Commonwealth Games: Arshad Nadeem becomes first South Asian athlete to throw 90m. Pakistani athlete Arshad Nadeem became the first athlete not only from Pakistan but also from South Asia to throw 90 meters.

At the Commonwealth Games, Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem won the gold medal in the javelin throw.

This year, Anderson Peters has thrown 93.07 meters and Jacob Wedlake has thrown 90.88 meters.

Arshad Nadeem became the first South Asian to throw the longest while the second Asian, Taiwan’s Chow Suncheng threw 91.36 meters in 2017.
