Chinese Language Day was celebrated at the United Nations in Vienna

VIENNA : Chinese Language Day was celebrated at the United Nations in Vienna, Austria, on Tuesday 2 May in Ratunda Place in which a large number of people participated. Diplomats of (UNO) and H E Ambassadors of different countries participated on this occasion.

China’s culture is a sample of the traditional traditions of more than five thousand years of history that help to know the mystery of this Asian country. Makes people wonder. Its citizens have spread throughout the world with a part of their heritage, so that their culture can quickly become established in nations whose way of life is quite different from that of the Chinese community. On this occasion, men and women dressed in traditional Chinese clothes participated in UNO in a cultural way.

Local artists and singers entertained the people with their art. Stalls of various Chinese languages ​​were also set up on this occasion, in which a large number of people participated. The highest number of people writing their name in Chinese was seen at this stall. There were various stalls displaying Chinese cultural items. People liked these stalls very much. In 2010, the United Nations Department of Information launched the “United Nations Day of Languages” with the aim of promoting linguistic and cultural diversity and the equal use of the six official languages ​​of the United Nations.
