CGP H.E. Faisal Butt Hosted A Dinner in Honour of PFUC

LAHORE: Consul General of Liberland to Pakistan H.E. Faisal Butt organized a fomal dinner in honor of the newly elected governing body of Pakistan Federal Union of Columnists (PFUC) for 2023 at the Consulate of Liberland-Pakistan. 

Former MPA Dr. Saeed Elahi, Dr. Khawar, Chairman PFUC and Anchor Person Farrukh Shahbaz Waraich, Central President Rana Ali Zohaib, Central Vice Presidents Mirza Rizwan, Shahzad Roshan Gillani, Secretary General Mujeeb-ur-Rahman, Information Secretary Muhammad Tuseef Butt, Secretary Coordination Muhammad Waqar Aslam, Secretary Social Media Jehanzeb Durrani, Secretary Finance Bilal Shaukat Azad, President Central Punjab Nadeem Sheikh, Vice President Rahat Mustafa, Joint Secretary Muhammad Rauf Butt, President Islamabad Chapter Muhammad Ali, General Secretary Women Wing Sadia Khalid, Social Activist Raiqa Batul, Member of the Board of Governors and former President Abdul Majid Malik, Senior board members Akhtar Ayub Khan and Noor-ul-Huda, senior journalists Hussam Khan Durrani, Muhammad Rizwan Butt, Haji Muhammad Naeem and anchor person Muhammad Bilal made a special appearance.

On this occasion, Consul General Faisal Butt also answered the questions of the participants. In his address, Faisal Butt said that Liberland believes in freedom of press. Our motto is “To Live & Let Live” which means freedom. We believe that journalism is the fourth pillar of any democratic country and real journalism is effective when it has full freedom.

He further said that the relations between Liberland and Pakistan are under discussion and it is hoped that diplomatic relations will be established soon. In response to a question, he said that 162,000 Pakistanis have submitted applications to obtain the citizenship of Liberland.
