ISLAMABAD: The Federal Cabinet has approved the budget 2022 for the next financial year.
According to sources, the federal cabinet has approved a 15 percent increase in the salaries of government employees.

Sources said that 5% increase in pension of government employees has also been approved.
According to sources, increasing the salaries of employees will put a burden of Rs 71.59 billion on the exchequer.
Government employees’ pensions were increased by 10% in April.
