Berlin: Pakistani Community Assured Help for Floods Affectees

Belin : In view of the devastation caused by floods in Pakistan in recent days Dr. Muhammad Faisal, the Pakistani Ambassador at the Pakistan Embassy in Berlin, met with the important religious, politica

l and business people of the Pakistani community.

In the meeting, Dr. Muhammad Faisal appealed for the help of flood-affected compatriots.

The students residing in Germany also participated online in the consultation meeting regarding the action plan to reach out to the flood affected people.

In the meeting, Dr. Faisal emphasized the need for mutual assistance to help flood-affected people. Answering the questions of the community members, Dr. Faisal said that “We should be united and overcome our political differences as a nation and do our best to help our countrymen in this time of trouble”

Dr. Faisal further said that “The difficult situation that Pakistan is currently going through is unprecedented in history. Around 1200 people have died while millions of people are homeless and sitting under the open sky”.

People of different schools of thought also said “Ever since this disaster happened in Pakistan, we here and our workers in Pakistan have been immediately active, thousands of tent houses have been settled in the affected areas and Food worth crores of rupees have been distributed”.

The community members assured the Ambassador of Pakistan that they will help Pakistanis in all possible ways to face this challenge.
