Milan, Italy: Consul General Milan, Italy Ms. Aqsa Nawaz organized an introductory meeting between the Pakistani community living in Italy and the newly arrived Ambassador of Pakistan Mr. Ali Javed in the city of Brescia, Italy on the special instructions of the Ambassador of Pakistan to Italy Ali Javed. In which the heads of the Pakistani community were specially invited.
In the introductory meeting, Consul General Ms. Aqsa Nawaz from Milan Consulate, Deputy Consul General Ahmed Waleed and Defense Attaché from Rome Italy Embassy took special part.
Ambassador Ali Javed lauded the critical role of pakistani diaspora in italy in strengthening the pakistan – italy relationship , in particular , taking pakistan’s exports and remittances beyond billion dollars benchmark on both counts. he underlined the need to depened interactions with local communites , promote the role of women, interfaith harmoney, students and linkages with italy.
Ambassador javed assured the community to further improve services delivery and establish direct linkage with every pakistani in italy through diverse initiatives including watsapp number which was launched immidiately upon his arrival in italy. he urged the community to unite as one force at all levels to promote country’s image.
The Community lauded Ambassador’s first visit to Brescia within nine working days of arrival in italy and reaffirmed their full committment and support for Ambassador’s vission to serve Pakistan and promote bilateral friendship. They extended support to whole heartedly prticipate the forthcoming Kashmir Day Public Rally in Brescia being singularly the largest gathering across EU.
