After 3 Chemists, 2 Teachers Were Killed in Srinagar

Srinagar : After 3 chemists, 2 teachers were killed in Srinagar. Top Jammu and Kashmir police officers rushed on the spot as the shooting was reported but remained tight-lipped about the fresh killings as condemnations poured in.

Ms. Satinder Kaur was a principal and Deepak Chand was a teacher at a government’s School in the city’s Eidgah area, taking the toll from targeted attacks on civilians in Kashmir to five since Tuesday. Police said Satinder Kour, the principal, and teacher Deepak Chand died on the spot when they were fired upon at the school. Chand was from Jammu and both he and Kour lived in Srinagar’s Aolochi Bagh area.

A senior pro unity leader Quayyum Raja from Azad Kashmir condemned the killings and accused the Indian government of misleading the public. The Indian government is pointing fingers at the anti India militants but people in general think it is a conspiracy to foil the nationalistic campaign to reunite the occupied regions of Jammu Kashmir.
