India : Three friends committed suicide out of fear over the accidental death of one of their hunting friends.
According to Indian media, the tragic incident took place in Tehri district of the Indian state of Uttarakhand.
Indian officials say seven friends went hunting on Saturday night, led by a friend named Rajiv.
According to the report, Rajiv had a loaded gun in his hand and suddenly his foot slipped and Rajiv’s hand fell on the trigger which opened fire and the bullet hit a friend named Santosh which killed him on the spot. Fled the scene
According to Indian officials, other friends who went hunting were horrified when they saw the scene and three of them, Soban, Pankaj and Arjun, ate the poisonous food out of fear.
According to the report, two friends lost their lives on the spot due to ingestion of poisonous substance while the third died at the hospital during treatment.
According to officials, two of the seven surviving friends reached the village and reported the incident. All the bodies have been taken into custody and sent for autopsy. The four dead friends are between 18 and 22 years of age. ۔
